Amazing steak!Cooked perfectly and to order - we cut it with a butter knife. It came with thick cut fries perfectly cooked and crispy (I hate soggy fries and typically don’t like thick cut )The side salad had fresh greens and local vegetables with the lightest hint of oil and vinegar which let the flavor come through.And let’s talk about the garlic bread - we thought when she said she would bring bread it was just that, but it was garlic bread with cloves and olive oil.Super friendly staff. We plan to come back for another meal before we leave. A great restaurant on a beautiful island .

Wonderful vibe, great smells, beautiful views and it also has a great driveway with a perfect angle for calf stretches! Comfy - will go again.Also- our wife left her hair tie behind and the waitress ran out to give it back to us! Super nice people

Having been on the island a week already, my husband and I have tried to find restaurants that serve good wholesome authentic local food, instead of the usual bland tourist stuff. We found it here!! Grilled sardines done to perfection, baccalhau(salt cod) done just right with fries and salad. And a red wine from Douro to wash it down. We loved it!!

Great espresso and beautiful view. Real lovely Madeira. Quieter than the other bar along road. Relaxing.
